Dear Community Partner,Youth mental health is one of the most pressing issues facing our nation. Addressing these challenges requires all of us—families, schools, healthcare professionals, faith communities, and community organizations—to work together. Because of this, the Center for Creative Life and Learning Inc. is hosting a community forum called"&nbsp;"Breaking the Silence Forum: Real Conversations About Youth Mental Health", hosted by the Center for Creative Life and Learning, Inc.




Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026 Time: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Location: Slayton House 10400 Cross Fox Lane Columbia, MD 21044
The forum will feature our video, followed by an engaging panel discussion with youth, parents, educators, behavioral health professionals, faith leaders, and community leaders who will share their lived experiences, professional expertise, and practical strategies, resources, and tools for supporting the mental well-being of young people.We are especially honored to welcome Dr. Niama Jacobs, a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in the outpatient treatment of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Dr. Jacobs will provide valuable insights on recognizing mental health concerns, reducing stigma, promoting emotional wellness, and helping families connect with appropriate care and support.&nbsp;

The chic &amp; famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of&nbsp;Charm City (Est.1975)&nbsp;that connects&nbsp;Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor &amp; Harbor East (S. Greene &amp; W. Pratt Street to S. President &amp; Fleet Street)&nbsp;that is now listed on Google search as one of the&nbsp;Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America&nbsp;is reporting&nbsp;&nbsp;it's Pre-Purple Friday in B'more.&nbsp;
The Ravens are just 8-days away from their 1st preseason&nbsp;game when they host the Philadelphia Eagles at M&amp;T Bank Stadium on August&nbsp;15th. Their new fan-based motto/slogan "No Purple Doubt" is gaining traction on social media. There's "No Purple Doubt" the Ravens will be One of the Best Teams in the NFL This Season.&nbsp;

Superstar-hip-hop Icon Jay-Z released his debut album&nbsp;"Reasonable&nbsp;Doubt"&nbsp; on June 25, 1996, a few weeks before the 1st-ever Baltimore Ravens&nbsp;<a href="https://www.baltimoreravens.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">www.baltimoreravens.com</a>&nbsp;training camp that&nbsp;featured future Hall of Famers Ray Lewis &amp; Jonathan Ogden. Lewis and Ogden became the team cornerstones as the 26th and 4th overall picks of the '96 NFL Draft. The Iconic album&nbsp;name for its&nbsp;30th Anniversary&nbsp;was a major influence to the fan-based team slogan&nbsp;"No Purple Doubt". 2026 also marks the&nbsp;30th Anniversary&nbsp;of the Ravens franchise in Baltimore.
