​Kevin Leonard is the CEO of Shop Rates, and is a seasoned real estate professional and mortgage originator with a distinguished career spanning over two decades. He began his journey in the mortgage industry in 1997 as a loan officer in Carlsbad, California. Within just three months, he ascended to become the top salesman nationwide for Ameriquest Mortgage. Subsequently, he served as the West Coast Regional Manager for Southern Star Mortgage Corp from 1999 to 2001, overseeing operations and leading a team of loan officers. In 2001, Kevin founded New World Mortgage, Inc., where he served as President until 2008. Under his leadership, the company processed $5 billion in residential mortgage loans, expanded to 750 locations nationwide, employed a staff of 5,000, and operated under a full Eagle License from HUD across 39 states.​

Currently based in Nashville, Tennessee, Kevin collaborates with real estate agents and wholesalers to identify lucrative investment properties suitable for fix-and-flip projects. He partners with general contractors renowned for their proven track records in rehabilitation work, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of quality and profitability.
