Kipyn (Kai) Martin brings the music of Joni Mitchell to life in We Are Stardust, a heartfelt tribute that captures the depth, poetry, and emotional resonance of one of the most influential songwriters of the 20th century. With a voice that moves effortlessly between strength and vulnerability, Kai channels the spirit of Mitchell’s work while offering a fresh, personal interpretation that feels both authentic and immediate.
Drawing from Mitchell’s expansive catalog, We Are Stardust explores the many eras of her songwriting—from the intimate, folk-rooted early years to the more complex, jazz-influenced compositions that followed. Kai’s nuanced vocal delivery and thoughtful arrangements highlight the lyrical richness and melodic sophistication that define Mitchell’s music, inviting audiences to listen deeply and rediscover familiar songs in a new light.
A seasoned performer and skilled interpreter of song, Kai is also known as one half of Joan & Joni, a celebrated tribute act that has previously performed at the Barns of Rose Hill. In this solo project, they step further into Mitchell’s world, creating an experience that is both reverent and distinctly their own.
We Are Stardust is more than a tribute concert—it’s an exploration of artistry, storytelling, and the enduring power of song. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or new to Joni Mitchell’s music, this performance offers a moving and memorable journey through a body of work that continues to inspire generations.
Date & Time: Saturday, October 10, 2026. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the concert starts at 7:00 PM.
Ticket Price: All tickets are general admission: $25 in advance until 3:00 PM on the day of the event or $30 at the door. Children 12 years and below are free when accompanied by an adult.
