Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (unless noted elsewhere) for a community, guided meditation and healing ceremony. 

Join <a target="_blank" href="https://villagewellness.net/practitioners/amy-mermaid-isakov-shamanic-practitioner" rel="nofollow noopener">Amy Mermaid Isakov</a> for an ongoing series of experiential evenings devoted to shamanic practice, relationship with the unseen world, and the cultivation of deep listening.
Shamanism is not something learned only through reading or theory. It is a living practice that grows through attention, relationship, and experience.
Each gathering offers a welcoming space to learn, practice, and deepen your connection with the more-than-human world. Some evenings introduce foundational practices, while others explore specific aspects of shamanic relationship and wisdom.
These evenings are open to both newcomers and experienced practitioners.
Together we practice, listen, and remember the ways of connection that help restore balance between ourselves, our communities, and the living world.

Once a month we gather for an evening of learning, connection, and inspiration with some of the most thoughtful holistic practitioners in our community.
Village Wellness Talks are relaxed, welcoming conversations where a featured practitioner shares about their work, their philosophy of healing, and practical insights you can bring into your own life.
Amy will conduct the evening in an interview style conversation that often includes a rich teaching and/or a demonstration and time for Q&amp;A.
The intention is always the same:
To leave with something meaningful.
A new perspective. A practical tool. Or a deeper understanding of healing traditions that support the body, mind, and spirit.
It’s also a wonderful way to&nbsp;meet the practitioners who make up our little Village, hear their stories, and experience their work in a personal way.This month, we are excited to welcome Jennifer for a conversation exploring the gentle yet profound practice of Reiki - a form of energy healing that supports relaxation, nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and deeper connection to self.
Reiki invites us to slow down and listen inwardly. Through intentional presence and subtle energetic touch, many people experience a greater sense of peace, clarity, grounding, and renewal. While simple in its approach, Reiki often opens the door to meaningful shifts in how we relate to stress, healing, and the unseen dimensions of life.
As Jennifer shares:
“Healing does not always come through pushing harder or trying to fix ourselves. Reiki offers a space to soften, receive, and reconnect with the natural wisdom and balance already within us.”
In this conversation with our host Amy, Jennifer will explore what Reiki is, how energy healing works, and why so many people are drawn to practices that support the body, mind, and spirit together.
Whether you are completely new to Reiki or have experienced energy work before, this evening promises to be calming, insightful, and deeply nourishing.

Join us as we gather around the fire to celebrate the Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year and a time of abundance, gratitude, and connection.
As the sun reaches its peak, we are invited to pause and honor the fullness of life - the growth we've experienced, the relationships that sustain us, and the dreams that are ready to be nourished.
In a world that often moves too quickly, there is something deeply healing about gathering in community around a fire. Together we will create a beautiful despacho - a mandala-like ceremonial offering made from flowers, seeds, grains, and other natural materials - infused with our prayers, gratitude, and intentions. The offering will then be given to the fire as a gift to the seen and unseen forces that support life.
There will be time for sharing, song, storytelling, laughter, reflection, and simply enjoying one another's company beneath the summer sky.

Our Monthly Integration Circle is an opportunity to gather as a group of like-minded folks to share and integrate expanded-state experiences. These experiences can come with practices like meditation, yoga, plant medicines, or spiritual journeys that expand consciousness for healing, spiritual, or religious purposes and are characterized by profound psychological and mystical effects. 
This space is held in a shamanic context and is open to all who approach this subject with respect, curiosity, and a genuine desire for personal growth. We strive to create an inclusive space, honoring the diverse experiences and perspectives that each participant brings to the table. 
We believe that by coming together and learning from one another, we can deepen our embodiment and understanding of states of expanded consciousness, integrate those states into our day-to-day lives, and cultivate a sense of connection and belonging.
In this welcoming, supportive, and sacred space, we can share our personal journeys, insights, and questions related to expanded states. Whether you're a seasoned explorer or just starting out on this transformative path, our circle offers a safe and non-judgmental environment for you to express yourself and learn from others.

This is not simply a craft workshop. It is a ceremony - a chance to bring a drum into being with your own hands, breath, intention, and spirit.Experience the magic of birthing your own medicine drum with your very own love, passion &amp; energy entwined in its being. The creation of the drum is a Sacred act, bringing deeper awareness to your own creative process in which we honor the animal whose hide we are working with, the tree, the journey and the gift of life itself.
The drum making process is a birth of the Self, an opportunity to bear witness to the unravelling and re-weaving of your heart-song and spirit path.&nbsp;
Led by the four directions, we will delve into time-honored Sacred ways and follow the guidance of the center altar and the medicine wheel.
As a final passage, I will drum over each newly born drum to pass on the transmission gifted to me by the Original Mother of Drums, holding ancient codes for a new time.

In this intimate day-long gathering, we’ll slow down enough to listen from deeper places within ourselves that don’t always get enough room to come online. You’ll learn about Mugwort in an intellectual, spiritual, and experiential way. 
A day like this is a chance to deepen your connection to the land and her living spirit. Together, we will re-member the foundational practice of plant spirit communication through animist and shamanic lenses.
