BestLife Fitness at Stephen D. Persinger Recreation Center

Whether you’re ready to race, cheer on a young Power Wheels driver, or make a day of it with the whole family, the Turbo Trot &amp; Mini Road Race Rally has something for everyone! This action-packed fundraiser features three exciting events — a 2.5-mile Lightning Run for adults, a 1-mile Short Circuit Kids Race, and the Mini Road Race Rally for young drivers ages 3-8. Register for one event or take on all three, then stick around for family fun, food, and activities as we celebrate an exciting morning together.

Lightning Run (Approx. 2.5 Miles)
<ul><li>All ages</li><li>$35 registration</li><li>Includes official Turbo Trot t-shirt</li><li>Complimentary beer included (21+ with valid ID)</li></ul>
Short Circuit Run (1-Mile Kids Race)
<ul><li>$27 registration</li><li>Includes official Turbo Trot t-shirt</li><li>Participation ribbon for all runners</li></ul>
Mini Road Race Rally
Ages: 3-8 Time: 9:00am-Noon Location: Stephen Persinger Recreation Center parking lot Cost: $30 ($35 non-resident)
Kids can race battery-powered ride-on vehicles in this exciting mini rally. Vehicles are provided, and participants will compete in fun, six-lap heats. All vehicles will be provided.

Peck Farm Park

The Geneva Park District Foundation invites the community to celebrate the season at its annual Autumn Fair. This event will be held from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26 at Peck Farm Park, 4038 Kaneville Road in Geneva. Participants will enjoy many activities (listed below). Admission to this event is FREE, with minimal fees for some activities, food, and beverages. Tickets are available for purchase to enjoy the pony rides, the petting zoo, pumpkins, and get a bite to eat at the lunch tent! Pumpkins will be available for $5 each while supplies last. Proceeds benefit special projects of the Geneva Park District Foundation.

Raffle Baskets: Test your luck at winning a variety of awesome prizes in the Basket Raffle. Beginning in September, tickets will be available for $5 each or 5 for $20. They can be purchased at the event or prior to the Autumn Fair at Sunset Community Center (710 Western Ave.) and Stephen Persinger Center (3507 Kaneville Rd). Participants have the chance to win baskets filled with free night stays at Destination Kohler and the Herrington Inn, gift cards from restaurants within the Tri-Cities, free golf rounds at your favorite courses, and MORE!

Their diverse baking styles and expertise will surely elevate our offerings and provide a delightful experience for everyone who visits. Each Baker brings something unique to the stand ensuring that our selection will be both varied and delicious.
Mark your calendars because we will officially open our Bake stand at 10:00&nbsp; AM on the 11 July. This date is fast approaching, and we are eagerly preparing for what promises to be an exciting day filled with mouthwatering treats and joyful interactions with our community. 
We can’t wait to welcome everyone and share our passion for baking!

 We rely on this stand to help us raise funds and awareness to the Medically and Homebound confined Veterans
This year, we are particularly excited to share that a local farmer has generously agreed to donate fresh eggs for our Bake stand! This addition will not only enhance the quality of our baked goods but also support local agriculture.. 

Breads Cookies Cakes Jams Trail mixes and several Hand Pies Flavors Scones and More&nbsp;
To complement these baked goods, we will also offer seasoning herbs, perfect for enhancing your culinary creations at home. 
And let’s not forget about skincare products! We believe in holistic wellness, and our skincare offerings will reflect that philosophy. Theresa Phillips Is a Certified Skincare Formulator and DONATES to Be A Hero To A Hero Proceeds. Theresa Was at thePainted Tree in Bloomingdale and it closed So she will have a small tent with products for you to try&nbsp;
The excitement is building, and we can’t wait to see what other orders come in as we get closer to the opening date. Each order represents not just a sale, but a connection with our community and a chance to share our love for baking.

The Arcada Theatre is turning 100 on September 6th. To celebrate, we are having a grand parade through the downtown streets of St. Charles. We’ll TWIST with Chubby Checker…We’ll party like Ferris Bueller…We’ll celebrate rock and roll with Vinny Appice (of Black Sabbath and Dio) and Carmine Appice (of Vanilla Fudge)…AND, We’ll Cheer, Dance and Celebrate with the community and special guests.
The parade will kick off at 3PM just west of the Fox River and proceed past the theatre. This is a free event, and everyone is invited to attend!
