Even though the summer has barely begun, we are busy getting ready for the next school year with our Back 2 School Campaign!
Children living in group homes and shelters that may face an uncertain future, need reassurance they will have ample school supplies and a new book bag, even if they aren't quite ready for a new school year! If students arrive on the first day of school physically and emotionally prepared to learn, their chances of success are greater! For more than 32 years, our steadfast goal remains that we will provide homeless and underserved children in our community with the tools they need to learn….and succeed!
We need enthusiastic people to spread the word about our Back 2 School campaign and rally friends, family, work colleagues, neighborhood, church, and social/civic groups to collect NEW book bags and school supplies. Every item collected will go to children in need and every donation is appreciated.
We welcome individuals and groups to rise up to the challenge of helping deserving kids! Start your collection today and plan to drop off your donations on July 23-24. .&nbsp;

This landmark America 250 production brings the community together through the unique, unifying power of song. The performance features a magnificent 150 voice strong symphonic chorus delivering a gorgeous lineup that balances stirring, traditional American favorites everyone knows and loves with deeply moving choral masterworks. It is a beautifully crafted musical tribute to our shared national journey, offering an uplifting experience that emphasizes genuine emotional connection and collective harmony.
A brilliant highlight of the afternoon is a featured performance of a spectacular arrangement of My Country, 'Tis of Thee. This specific piece carries profound local history, having been commissioned by Roswell United Methodist Church from legendary composer and arranger Mack Wilberg to honor Artistic Director Michael O'Neal's milestone 20th anniversary as Director of Worship Arts. Its inclusion gives audiences a proud, direct connection to a masterwork born right within the local community, making for an unforgettable afternoon of shared heritage and hometown pride.
