The Berkeley Potters Guild is a legacy collective in Berkeley’s West Side Artists’ District committed to community inclusion and outreach to share education of contemporary and traditional ceramics. We are a collective of 20 ceramic artists, potters and sculptors offering the opportunity to live with handmade beauty every day, each having our own studio. We share cooperative jobs to maintain our labyrinthian building; our in-house Gallery is open to the public every Saturday ~ we open the entire building for a month in the Spring and Winter for our special all member holiday show, dynamite seconds sale, and open studio tours, during which we offer demonstrations, classes, and lecture / discussions. We are a diverse group making a wide range of the finest forms in clay, modern day heirlooms!
