Bring your furry, feathered, or scaled friends for a special afternoon of community and celebration! Haddonfield United Methodist Church is hosting an outdoor Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, April 25, at 5:00 PM.
Whether you have a dog, a cat, a hamster, or a bird, all animal companions are welcome to join us for this unique outdoor worship service on the church lawn.
Can’t bring your pet? No problem. We know not every animal is a fan of crowds. If your companion is shy, or if you’d like to honor a pet who has passed, feel free to bring a photo or a favorite stuffed animal to be blessed instead.

Blessing of the Animals: A Community Celebration at Haddonfield UMC

The New Jersey MasterChorale (NJMC) will present its Spring Concert, "To Glory Arise," on Sunday, April 26, at 7:00 PM in the Sanctuary of Haddonfield United Methodist Church.
This performance marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The program draws inspiration from the Declaration's fundamental ideals of equality, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Artistic Director Dr. Jason Vodicka will lead the NJMC alongside a 40-piece professional orchestra, the ensemble’s largest instrumental accompaniment in several seasons.
The repertoire features a diverse collection of American music, including settings of folk tunes, patriotic selections, and poetry by iconic American writers such as Emma Lazarus, Robert Frost, Francis Ellen Watkins Harper, and John Greenleaf Whittier. Featured composers include Aaron Copland, Randall Thompson, Gwyneth Walker, Roger Holland, Cynthia Erivo, and Melissa Dunphy.
The concert will also feature a special guest performance by the Mosaic Youth Chorus from the Lehigh Valley. Directed by Joy Hirokawa, this diverse ensemble of singers aged 11–18 focuses on developing community and social awareness through choral excellence.
The concert is open to the public. While admission is free, tickets are required for entry and will be available beginning March 26. Haddonfield neighbors are invited to a global culinary adventure on Saturday, May 2 (doors open at 5:00 PM) at Haddonfield United Methodist Church.
The annual youth fundraiser, "A Taste Around the World," is back with a new international twist. This family-friendly evening features a delicious dinner highlighting flavors from across the globe alongside traditional favorites. In addition to the meal, guests can browse and bid on a vibrant Silent Auction featuring curated, themed gift baskets—perfect for foodies, travelers, and local families.
Proceeds from the evening directly support Haddonfield students as they prepare for a life-changing mission journey to Dublin, Ireland this July. Our youth will be joining the Global Young People’s Convocation, a worldwide gathering focused on leadership, connection, and international service.
