The Studio by Hill Street in Southampton is launching a brand new 12 week ballet program for boys and girls ages 4–6.
Led by Cindy, the class begins Monday, September 14, at 4 p.m. and will introduce young dancers to ballet basics:&nbsp;musicality, movement, balance, coordination and confidence, while helping them develop a lifelong love of dance.
MONDAYS AT 4 P.M

The Studio by Hill Street in Southampton is starting its Fall Ballroom &amp; Latin program on Tuesday, September 15, with classes for children and teens ages 4–18.
Our instructors Val &amp; Neda make learning to dance fun, social and confidence-building. Kids will learn Ballroom and Latin dances while developing coordination, musicality, posture and most importantly having fun!
No previous dance experience is needed, and both boys and girls are very welcome.
🕓 Ages 4–6: Mini Ballroom — 4 PM 
🕔 Ages 7–10: Junior Stars — 5 PM 
🕕 Ages 11–18: Elite Teens — 6 PM

Looking for something fun and social to do midweek in Southampton?
Wednesday Latin Night at The Studio is a relaxed, welcoming evening designed especially for adults who want to try dancing — even if they’ve never danced before.
Each Wednesday at 7:00 PM, we introduce a mix of salsa, bachata, tango, and other Latin styles in a friendly, social format. No partner is needed, and many people attend on their own.
This is not a performance class or a competitive environment. The focus is on enjoying the music, moving comfortably, and meeting people in a low-pressure setting.
What to expect:

On Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th, the Montauk Friends of Erin and Kiwanis Club of East Hampton are proud to present a family-friendly seafood event right in the Heart of Montauk. The Seafood Festival started over 10 years ago as a joint fundraiser to support both groups’ charitable interests here on the east end.
This year, over 14 different restaurants and vendors will be featuring some of their seaside favorite dishes…

The Jay Heritage Center in Rye, New York will celebrate America at 250 with a toast to Jay Medal honorees Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.
The Jay Medal for Service was created in 2012 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a selfless spirit of commitment to and engagement with their community mirroring the multifaceted contributions of John Jay and his descendants. These honorees have demonstrated through their life's work that our shared narratives as a country, complicated as they are, can be better illuminated through the highest caliber of ongoing scholarship and advocacy. Honorees are selected for their excellence in the fields of American history, environmental stewardship, social justice or civic engagement.
Joining the celebration will be Chief Judge of the State of New York and the New York Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian and philanthropist Elihu Rose who will present the awards at JHC's annual Soirée. Special guests will include David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman, and Beverly Gage.

The Jay Medal Soirée will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Jay Estate from 5:30-9:30pm. Cocktails, dinner, award ceremony and dancing. Cocktail Attire.
