Coach Narguess, Neighbor

Coach Narguess has played tennis since age six, competing on the New Canaan High School varsity team and as a USTA junior member. As an adult, she continues to grow through local leagues, drills, and clinics, with training at the Rafa Nadal Academy, Rock Creek Tennis Center, Sea Colony Tennis Center, and Nike Tennis Camps. She currently teaches adult tennis for the City of Berkeley, offering programs for the local tennis community.

Previously, while living in Washington, D.C., she led adult cardio tennis programs with the Lafayette Tennis Association and served as head coach of The Field School girls’ varsity tennis team. She is a Level 1 PTR-certified instructor and a former USTA Mid-Atlantic volunteer, contributing to events such as Citi Open Kids Day, Arthur Ashe Kids Day, the USTA Annual Gala, and Girls Rule the Court. In 2021, she won the Capital Tennis Association Cap Classic Mixed Doubles Championship. Coach Narguess loves every aspect of the game as a player, student, teacher, and observer.
