Join Rock Voices, the community choir that ONLY sings rock music!

Harmony Heritage Chorus, the Pawtucket, RI chapter of Harmony, Incorporated, an international organization of female a cappella singers specializing in the barbershop harmony style, is inviting female singers of all ages and musical backgrounds to sing with them as guest singers in a special holiday concert to be held at the LaSalette Shrine auditorium in Attleboro, MA.
Beginning October 13th and continuing weekly through early December, guest singers will need to attend the first hour of regular weekly Tuesday night rehearsals, from 7pm-8pm at the chorus’s new rehearsal space at Newman Church, 100 Newman Avenue, Rumford, RI. Guests will learn 5 holiday songs, including some old favorites and some lesser known pieces. Rehearsals will culminate with participation in the December 5th A Cappella Holiday Show, featuring singers from three award winning chapters of Harmony, Inc., the Barbershop Harmony Society and SingUnited International.
“Give yourself a present this hectic holiday season and surround yourself with warm voices, laughter, festive energy and women who want to share the joy of singing,” say membership chair Shelley Pray. “The Christmas Chorus is one of those rare places where community, joy and tradition all collide!”
Participation is free, and no further commitment is required. Newman Church is handicapped-accessible, with an outside ramp and an elevator to the main hall. Rehearsals are in the main hall on first and third Tuesdays. On second and fourth Tuesdays, rehearsals begin in the sanctuary, then move to the main hall.
