<ul><li>Apple Pi Robotics: We are a passionate, competitive high school FIRST robotics team.</li><li>Design, Build, &amp; Program: We create massive 150 lb. robots from the ground up.</li><li>Compete Globally: We compete with our robots in exciting competitions against other high school teams from across New England and the world!</li></ul>

Gather, create, and be inspired at The Connecticut Bead Society's Annual Bead Bazaar!
This vibrant event features various vendors from Connecticut and neighboring states, who have all sorts beads and supplies for sale including finished pieces. Seed beads, lampwork beads, silver pieces, semi-precious stones, leather, plus tools for beading, shaping, polishing.
 Attendees can enjoy fun three different Make 'n' Take projects taught by our talented Bead Society members while shopping, and we are featuring our annual Bead Challenge for everyone to vote for their favorite piece.
Just $5 admission (free for Bead Society members); open from 10 am to 4 pm. Plenty of free parking and right off the main road and easy to find. Become a member The Connecticut Bead Society at the show and get free admission. We are thrilled to have you join us!

CT Parents, Do you have a singer, musician, actor, or future performer in your family? Come experience the New Haven Academy of Performing Arts and discover why so many local families call NHAOPA their performing arts home!Saturday, September 12th 1:00–5:00 PM During our Open House, you can:• Try a one-on-one trial lesson• Meet our instructors and staff• Talk with current NHAOPA students and parents• Tour our studios and immersive theater• Explore voice, piano, guitar, drums, acting, musical theater, rock band, and more• Learn about our many performance opportunitiesWhether your child is trying the performing arts for the first time or is ready to take their training to the next level, this is the perfect opportunity to find the right program, teacher, and community. Trial lessons will be available throughout the afternoon. Walk-ins are welcome, but lesson availability cannot be guaranteed.Call 475-238-8119 to reserve a trial lesson and guarantee your time with an instructor. The Jay Heritage Center in Rye, New York will celebrate America at 250 with a toast to Jay Medal honorees Pulitzer Prize-winning author Annette Gordon-Reed, the Carl M. Loeb University Professor at Harvard University and award-winning Lincoln historian Harold Holzer.
The Jay Medal for Service was created in 2012 to recognize individuals who demonstrate a selfless spirit of commitment to and engagement with their community mirroring the multifaceted contributions of John Jay and his descendants. These honorees have demonstrated through their life's work that our shared narratives as a country, complicated as they are, can be better illuminated through the highest caliber of ongoing scholarship and advocacy. Honorees are selected for their excellence in the fields of American history, environmental stewardship, social justice or civic engagement.
Joining the celebration will be Chief Judge of the State of New York and the New York Court of Appeals, Honorable Rowan D. Wilson and historian and philanthropist Elihu Rose who will present the awards at JHC's annual Soirée. Special guests will include David Blight, Frank Cogliano, Joanne Freeman, and Beverly Gage.

The Jay Medal Soirée will be held Saturday, September 19, 2026 at the Jay Estate from 5:30-9:30pm. Cocktails, dinner, award ceremony and dancing. Cocktail Attire.
