The main showroom will feature rare, historically significant postcards, as well as cards from around the U.S. and world that depict every conceivable topic such as sports, holidays, animals, transportation, entertainment, art and military. Public institutions function best when they operate with transparency, accountability, and respect for the communities they serve. Unfortunately, many parents in the West Windsor-Plainsboro community are increasingly asking whether those values are truly being upheld by district leadership. Last Thursday, I submitted a series of direct questions to Superintendent and Board President regarding athletics, coaching decisions, communication practices, public accountability, and the use of taxpayer-funded resources. These were not hostile questions. They were reasonable questions from a taxpayer and parent seeking transparency from a public school district funded by the community. Instead of receiving direct answers, parents continue to encounter redirection, incomplete responses, or silence. That pattern raises a larger question: why is district leadership so reluctant to provide straightforward information to the public? One issue that deserves clarification involves representations regarding administrative experience abroad. Community members were led to believe that Ms. Cincotta held an administrative role internationally. However, publicly available information appears to indicate that her role was as a music teacher at American schools in Bolivia and Paraguay, not as a school administrator. If there is additional context or experience that has not been publicly explained, then district leadership should simply clarify it openly and transparently. Transparency matters because credibility matters. Parents are also being told to search independently for information regarding taxpayer spending “between High School North and High School&nbsp; South,” while at the same time district employees such as Kia Bergman, the district’s record keeper, are paid with taxpayer dollars specifically to maintain and provide access to public records. Taxpayers should not be made to feel as though requesting information from their own school district is an inconvenience or a burden. Public information belongs to the public. When administrations withhold information, avoid direct answers, or create unnecessary obstacles to transparency, it naturally leads parents to question what exactly is being protected. If there is nothing improper occurring, then openness should not be difficult. The issue here is larger than athletics, personnel decisions, or one set of emails. The issue is whether the community can trust that its school leadership values openness over insulation, accountability over defensiveness, and honest communication over carefully managed messaging. Parents are not asking for special treatment. They are asking for transparency from public officials whose salaries and departments are funded by taxpayers. That is not unreasonable. The Church of Saint Ann

Caritas Chamber Chorale will present a series of three a cappella choral concerts entitled A Heart at Peace
on the weekend of June 12-14, 2026. The program considers the many diverse moments when we find mercy and peace. Ultimately, our music leads us to the One who is the source of all peace. A freewill offering benefits the Adorno Fathers’ African Mission.
From 16th century English motets, through early American sacred music, to choral works composed by a plethora of gifted living composers, this program views peace, and our relationship to it, from many perspectives.
Featured works include local composer Mark A. Miller’s Dona Nobis Pacem, Caritas Composer in Residence Wayne Dietterick’s The Peace-Pipe on a Longfellow poem, and an original three-part work on the peace of one’s later years by Caritas charter member Chris Rath, entitled Let in the Grace. Also, don’t miss Martin Åsander’s Peace, Lucy Walker’s Give Me Your Stars and Dan Forrest’s Good Night Dear Heart, among many others.
The program’s title, A Heart at Peace, expresses our wish for you.
The concert will be presented on:
·Friday, June 12, 2026, 7:30 pm at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
·Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 7:30 pm at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 250 Bebout Ave., Stirling, NJ 07980
·Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 4 pm at Mount St. Mary’s Academy Chapel, 1645 Rt. 22 W., Watchung, NJ 07069. This concert will feature a women’s ensemble from Mount St. Mary’s Academy.

The concerts are free and open to the public. The entirety of a freewill offering will benefit the Pierluigi Fabbiani Nursery School, the Gianni Diurni Primary School, and the Foyer de l’Enfance Paolo Di Nardo Orphanage, run by the Adorno Fathers’ St. Francis Caracciolo Mission in Goma, Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa. 
Since its founding in 2005, Caritas’ audiences have supported the Adorno Fathers’ St. Francis Caracciolo Mission in DRC, Africa through freewill offerings.
Caritas Chamber Chorale is a community choir of approximately 20 singers who are dedicated to serving the poorest of the poor through the art of sacred music.
