Rainbow Exhale: A Queer & Trans Sound Journey
There is something powerful about being able to exhale in a space where you know you are welcome.
Rainbow Exhale is a queer and trans-centered sound journey created for LGBTQIA+ community members and allies. The experience begins with a guided EFT meditation, followed by progressive muscle relaxation to help release tension and settle into the present moment. From there, the session opens into a carefully composed sound bath using crystal singing bowls and other gentle acoustic instruments.
Each sound and instrument is chosen intentionally, with the session unfolding through a progression of tones, textures, rhythms, and silence. The experience offers space for deep rest, reflection, and restoration, with time to slow down, listen, and notice what arises.
No experience with EFT, meditation, or sound healing is necessary. Whether you're deeply familiar with these practices or trying them for the first time, you're invited to get comfortable and let yourself be guided through the experience.
Led by Charlie Sebastian Short, a queer, BIPOC, and neurodivergent sound healing practitioner and professional musician, Rainbow Exhale is a trauma-aware space created with LGBTQIA+ community members in mind. Allies are warmly welcome.
While many items are available to borrow, feel free to bring any comfort items, such as a favorite pillow, squishmallow, eye mask, or anything else that helps you get comfortable... then give yourself some room to breathe.
This is a pay-what-you-can (PWYC)/sliding scale event.

Flow State is a monthly, music-driven Vinyasa flow set to an uplifting electronic dance music (EDM) soundtrack co-hosted by Breathing Room teachers Karen Adamczyk and Alexie Heimburger.
Beginning with a gentle warm-up, using fluid dance-inspired movement to shake off the week, awaken your body, and sync with the rhythm of your breath. From there, the intensity gradually rises into a strong, athletic Power Vinyasa practice. Expect creative sequencing, dynamic flows, and building heat as you cultivate strength, mobility, presence, and full-body energy.
The class will wind down with dance before settling into a deeply restorative, long savasana. This final stillness allows your nervous system to integrate the effort, movement, and joy of the practice.
No dance experience required - come move, breathe, and have fun. All levels welcome.

Shadow work is about facing the parts of yourself you usually avoid: the fears, doubts, and emotions you’ve buried. It’s not about judging them but understanding where they come from and how they shape you. When you bring these hidden parts into the light, you free yourself from old patterns and grow into a more authentic version of yourself.
Each month, we will gather in community to meet our shadows with compassion, curiosity, and gentle awareness. Together, we will create a safe and supportive space to explore the parts of ourselves that often remain hidden - the emotions, patterns, beliefs, and experiences that are asking to be witnessed, understood, and integrated.
During this two-hour healing experience, we will move through personal reflection, guided meditation, and community connection. Through guided shadow work prompts, journaling and community discussion, we will explore various themes with kindness for ourselves and for others. Guided meditation will help us connect internally, followed by community discussion and sharing (always optional) to remind us that we are not alone in our healing journeys.
We will close with a grounding sound bath to fully integrate our deep work and rebalance the nervous system before we part ways.
Each month will offer a new theme for exploration.
About Jess Spain
Jess Spain holds a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in Child and Family Studies from Portland State University. Before COVID, she worked as a counselor for several years, with a focus on serving the Indigenous community in her area. During that time, she developed her own group curriculum centered on mindfulness, DBT skills, and emotional intelligence.
Jess is a Portland, Oregon Indigenous (Cow Creek Umpqua enrolled) spiritualist, Reiki Usui Master, mindfulness teacher, and astrologer. Her esoteric journey began in childhood and has continued to grow into an integral part of who she is today.
She is a Level 2 Reiki practitioner, sound healer, and certified 200-hour yoga instructor. Jess has been a formal meditation student since 2020, with ongoing training and education in mindfulness and meditation. In 2021, she attended Nightlight Astrology School, where she studied Hellenistic Astrology. She has found deep joy in exploring birth charts alongside healing work and using astrology as a tool to guide and support others.
Two Moons Wellness is Jess’s way of bringing together her culture, educational background, and esoteric studies into one practice—uniting body, mind, and spirit with universal flow. She believes in the transformative power of introspection, including shadow work, grounded in mindfulness, to help others connect more deeply with their higher selves.
Jess has applied these practices to her own life through mindfulness training and experienced a sense of inner peace, tranquility, and serenity she once did not believe possible. Through Two Moons Wellness, she hopes to share these transformative tools with others and help them discover greater peace in this life.
One of her greatest teachers said, “The only way out is in.”

Your monthly ritual... An invitation to come back to center.
Our nervous systems are constantly taking in information. Between work, screens, notifications, responsibilities, and the general pace of everyday life, our attention is often being pulled in multiple directions at once—with very little intentional time to slow down and rest.
This monthly nervous system reset is a dedicated space to do exactly that: support nervous system regulation.
This immersive sound bath experience uses crystal singing bowls, chimes, oceanic textures, and other therapeutic sounds to gently guide your system out of the noise and stimulation of everyday life and into a deeper state of rest.
For 75-minutes, there’s nowhere else you need to be and nothing you need to do. Simply get comfortable, receive the sound, and allow yourself to unwind.
Think of this as your recurring monthly ritual to come back to center - a space to intentionally step away from the busyness of life, reconnect with yourself, and give your body and mind the restoration you're craving.
Come as you are.
Yoga mats, blankets, and props are available for your use, but please feel free to bring anything that will help you feel even more cozy & comfortable.
These sessions are open to all; no prior experience is needed.
