Songswriter Sessions with Greg Roth & Rachel Kline

Del Ray's only songwriter series dedicated to original music.

On September, we welcome songwriter Rachel Kline, singer/guitarist from the DC band Flowerbomb. The band recently completed an East Coast tour and is preparing to release a new album. The new single, "Jewish Girl", dropped on July 22. Flowerbomb has won both Best Rock Band and Best Song from the Washington Area Music Association ("The Wammies").

Rachel joins host Greg Roth (Czars of Leisure), who also just released a new album "Make Yourself Comfortable" on May 15, 2026.

The What Have You (TWHY) is an open mic and concert series started in 2022 by Del Ray musicians Greg Roth and Gabe Fry. THIS SUMMER, TWHY is hosting a 2x monthly songwriters series at Hi/Fi Tex-Mex BBQ, the beer garden outside and behind Evening Star Cafe. Sessions are 2nd & 4th Sundays, 1-3 pm, and feature a different local songwriter each session. Shows are FREE (and subject to decent weather).
