Kevin Allison is the creator and host of the hit podcast, RISK!, where people tell true stories they never thought they’d dare to share. Since 2009, RISK! has produced over 1000 episodes. Slate once called RISK! “Hilarious, jaw-dropping and just plain touching.” It was recently included in the book, The Podcast Pantheon: 101 Podcasts That Changed the Way We Listen. Kevin is also the founder and lead instructor of The Story Studio, a storytelling school which offers classes and corporate workshops around the world and online. He is also the editor of the book adaptation of RISK!, published by Hachette Books in 2018. As an actor, writer and comedian, Kevin began his career as a founding member of the legendary sketch comedy group, The State, whose cult classic show aired on MTV from 1993-96. More recently, Kevin has appeared in shows such as Flight of the Conchords, High Maintenance, Cobra Kai, and the films Alma and the Wolf and Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass.

Emcee Chetter Galloway grew up listening to his father tell stories on road trips and enjoys adding his own unique flair to stories—a process he calls “Chetterizing.” Chetter is an avid runner who enjoys creating stories while running!   His favorite proverb, “A stumble is not a fall,” reflects his engaging and resilient approach to both life and storytelling.

Archy Jamjun is the curator of Outspoken LGBTQ Stories at Sidetrack in Chicago. He is also a two-time winner of The Moth Grandslam and has appeared on The Moth Radio Hour. He told stories all over the country with Eth-No-Tec, The Sierra Storytelling Festival and The Speak Story Series. Archy has also dabbled in stand-up comedy and his writing has been published by Chicago Magazine, Barrel House and Rhumpus.

Sue Searing is a storyteller and former librarian who lives in Minneapolis with her wife Christine. Sue loves to discover and share traditional folk and fairy tales with adults as well as children. She also creates original stories drawn from family lore and her own experiences. Paul Bunyan is her secret boyfriend.

Regina Stoops grew up in a small, Midwestern town where nothing much happened. She inherited her mom’s propensity for a quick comeback, known as the “snappy gene,” and has used the skill to entertain and annoy folks her entire life. She is an award-winning storyteller, comedian, writer, and co-producer of the online storytelling platform Six Feet Apart Productions. Her stories have been heard on the Risk! Podcast, The Moth Grand Slam stage, NPR’s Story Borealis, Unreeling Stories, In A Nutshell, The Good Liars Club, and Redwood Nights. Regina uses storytelling as her weapon of choice to help tackle diversity, adversity, and suburban chaos.

Janel Woodland is an award-winning storyteller with a diverse repertoire ranging from traditional stories to engaging and heartwarming personal narratives and hilarious original tall tales. She lives in southwest Ohio with her imaginary dog, Jeff. When she isn’t sharing stories at house concerts, festivals or on zoom, you can find her riding her bicycle or tromping in the woods.
