Police Seek Driver In Fatal Seven Corners Pedestrian Hit-And-Run
Fairfax County police seek a driver after a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash in Seven Corners.

SEVEN CORNERS, VA — Fairfax County police are searching for the driver of a light-colored sedan after a pedestrian was fatally struck Tuesday morning in Seven Corners.
Officers responded at about 1:22 a.m. to the intersection of Arlington Boulevard and Patrick Henry Drive after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, police said.
Detectives with the Fairfax County Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Unit preliminarily determined that an adult man was crossing from north to south in the crosswalk, against the pedestrian signal, when he was struck by a sedan traveling east on Arlington Boulevard, police said. The driver left the scene.

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department personnel took the man to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
The investigation is ongoing. Police said speed and alcohol are under investigation.
