Obituary: John Allaway

John Edward Allaway, resident of Fox point, who grew up in Whitefish Bay, died suddenly of heart complications on June 15.    

He is survived by his loving girlfriend Asya Poglazova of Glendale, Father Dr. James Allaway (Julie), Mother Mary La Porte, all of Whiteifish Bay. Also survived by sisters, Laura Allaway of Fairbanks, Alaska, Sarah Potter (Nicholas) of Milwaukee and Lisa Allaway of Winona, Minnesota. 

John was a graduate of University of Wisconsin School of Business. He was the Director of Finance at Honda of Kenosha and was soon to take that position at North Shore Lexus. He enjoyed many sports, traveling and spending time with his family.  

The service will be at Schmidt and Bartelt of Mequon 10280 N. Port Washington Rd on Saturday, June 22 with visitation from 10:00-1:30 and a service from 1:30-2:00. Please bring your stories, pictures to share and, if you wish, some food. Contributions may be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
