Bernard J Vanderpoel, “Bernie”, 79, of Baldwin, died on the morning of Jan. 24, 2013, at the Baldwin Care Center.  

A funeral celebration of Bernard’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29, at the Historic Woodside Place, 2053 Cty N in Baldwin. Burial will take place at the Hammond Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church as well as from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, at the O’Connell Family Funeral Home in Baldwin.
