57 Workers To Lose Jobs As Oak Creek Plant Prepares To Close
The company said layoffs at the Oak Creek facility will begin June 30, with the plant expected to fully close in February 2027.
OAK CREEK, WI — Henkel US Operations Corporation plans to permanently close its facility in Oak Creek, resulting in the layoffs of 57 workers, according to a notice filed with state officials.
The company said operations at the facility, located at 420 W. Marquette Ave., will shut down on or around Sept. 28. The facility is expected to close around Feb. 28, 2027, according to the WARN notice.
The first round of layoffs is expected June 30, when 32 employees are set to lose their jobs. Another 21 workers are expected to be laid off Sept. 28, followed by four more on Feb. 26, 2027.

The affected positions include mixing operators, group leads, warehouse associates, quality specialists, maintenance workers, engineers, supervisors, and managers, according to the notice.
All affected employees have been notified that their separations will be permanent, the company said. The notice also says workers will not have bumping rights, meaning they will not be able to displace more junior employees to keep their jobs.

Henkel did not list a reason for the closure in the notice.
