The special America 250 stickers celebrate the nation's semiquincentennial
MONTGOMERY, AL — Alabama Secretary of State Wes Allen on Wednesday announced the release of newly designed "I Voted" stickers to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States during the Nov. 3 general election.
The special America 250 stickers celebrate the nation's semiquincentennial and will be available to voters participating in the upcoming election.
"For 250 years, Americans have fought, sacrificed, and worked to preserve the freedoms that make our Nation the greatest country in the world," Allen said. "This America 250 'I Voted' sticker represents more than participating in an election – it represents our commitment to preserving the constitutional republic our Founders gave us."
