Oak Mountain State Park

Celebrate Independence Day and America's 250th birthday with a spectacular fireworks show above Double Oak Lake. Enjoy a full day of activities including beach volleyball, fishing, and playgrounds, plus food vendors and commemorative giveaways from the America 250 tent.&nbsp; The fireworks show begins at 9pm.Annual park passes will be honored until 7:00 p.m. on July 3. Regular park admission rates apply until 4:00 p.m. Beginning at 4:00 p.m., Pelham residents may enter for a special rate of $10 per vehicle with proof of residency. The admission rate for all other guests is $15 per vehicle. <a href="https://reserve.alapark.com/register/fire-on-the-water-fireworks-show07" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Purchase advance tickets here.</a>
Guests who pre-purchase admission and annual pass holders will be able to enter through a designated side gate at the park's south entrance beginning at 4:00 p.m. Both public entrance gates will close at 7:00 p.m. to allow for event preparations and ensure visitor safety prior to the fireworks display.&nbsp;

The 20-minute display is synchronized to a patriotic soundtrack broadcast live across local iHeartMedia radio stations and WBRC 6 News.Vulcan Park &amp; Museum will close to the public at 3 p.m. on July 4 to allow for event setup and safety preparations.
