• Mary G Montgomery (AL) football names new head coach for 2026 season (on3.com subscription) — Semmes’ own Mary G. Montgomery High has promoted defensive coordinator Alex Page to head football coach following AHSAA sanctions that put the program on probation. Page says he’s focused on moving forward and keeping players locked in as the Vikings prepare for their August 21 season opener against powerhouse Saraland and work to maintain the school’s strong football tradition.
