(troymessenger.com) — Troy residents can expect a major new STEM and vocational hub as the City Council has approved a 50-year lease with Pike County Schools for the renovated Academy Street Career Innovation Academy. Backed by a $10.5 million state grant and additional funding efforts, the $15 million project will transform the historic Academy Street School by 2028 to serve students from Troy, Pike County, and Dale County.
