⢠Palmer will get a fifth superior court judge under bill sponsored by governor (tncontentexchange.com) ā Palmerās overburdened superior court is on track to gain a fifth judge, with companion bills moving quickly through the Alaska Legislature at the governorās request. If approved, the change would ease some of the stateās heaviest caseloads, improving how quickly local civil and criminal cases are heard for Palmer and Mat-Su residents.

⢠No deal in Mat-Su bus strike as negotiations stall again (matsusentinel.com) ā Families in Palmer and across Mat-Su will head into an eighth week without school bus service after contract talks between Durham School Services and Teamsters Local 959 stalled again. With no new negotiations scheduled and health-screening costs still a sticking point, about 18,000 students remain without buses and more than 200 workers are staying on the picket line.
