• Kenai River Personal Use Dip Net Fishery Open 24 Hours Per Day (alaska-native-news.com) — If you’re dipnetting the Kenai, the river is now open 24 hours a day through late Friday night thanks to a strong sockeye run. Only Alaska residents with the proper Upper Cook Inlet permit and sport license can participate, and locals with questions are directed to the Soldotna Fish and Game office for details and regulations.
