• Bullhead City Volunteers Build Artificial Reefs to Enhance Colorado River Fish Habitat (thebee.news) — Bullhead City volunteers recently helped build nearly 200 artificial reef structures in the Colorado River below Davis Dam, boosting fish habitat and cutting down on nuisance aquatic insects that bother riverfront neighborhoods. Led by the City’s Pest Abatement Program with state and nonprofit partners, the project supports stocked Rainbow Trout, improves local quality of life, and contributes to ongoing scientific research on river restoration. 
• Major pizza chain has closed at least 40 locations in 2026: See the list so far (mlive.com) — Papa Johns has permanently closed its Bullhead City location on AZ-95 as part of a nationwide wave of shutdowns hitting at least 44 stores so far this year. The company plans to close around 300 locations by 2027, targeting older, underperforming restaurants while other major pizza chains also struggle.
