• New Law Targets One of the Biggest Drivers of Housing Costs (einpresswire.com) — A new Arizona law, HB 2999, aims to lower upfront housing costs by letting communities finance roads, water, and sewer for new developments over time instead of baking everything into home prices. Championed by Rep. Jeff Weninger, who represents Chandler’s Legislative District 13, the measure creates State Affordability Infrastructure Districts without putting broader city or county taxpayers on the hook.
