• EDPR, SRP commission 200 MW / 800 MWh Flatland battery storage project in Arizona (pv-magazine-usa.com) — A massive new battery storage facility has just gone online in Coolidge, bringing a 200 MW / 800 MWh system that will support grid reliability and inject over $20 million into local and regional economies. The Flatland Energy Storage project is expected to back up power for tens of thousands of Arizona homes, while generating tax revenue for schools, roads, and emergency services and supporting construction jobs in Pinal County.
