• Hee-haw given heave-ho as donkey rescued from canal (gorgenewscenter.com) — Eloy residents might be hearing about an unusual rescue this week: local firefighters pulled a stranded donkey safely from a canal using ropes and vehicles, never entering the water. Crews then calmed and dried the animal, and a livestock expert is caring for it while officials work to locate its owner.
