Native Plant Walk discussed at Kingman Council (thestandardnewspaper.online) — Kingman’s June 2 council meeting advanced the Route 66 Native Plant Walk, approved art and landscaping, and backed funding to keep the KART yellow bus line running until at least August 1. Council also moved forward a $343 million tentative budget, debated the struggling city golf course grill, and reviewed historic home counts and drought planning.
   

2. Kingman City Council to vote on sales tax increase at next meeting (thestandardnewspaper.online) — Kingman residents face a key decision June 16, when City Council will hold a final hearing and vote on raising the city sales tax from 2.5% to 3.0% to fund road repairs. If approved, the new 8.6% combined rate would start September 1 after state review deadlines are met.
   

3. Arizona Lottery Powerball, The Pick results for June 10, 2026 (azcentral.com) — Kingman lottery players can cash Arizona Lottery prizes up to $49,999 at the Walmart office on Stockton Hill Road, open seven days a week with extended hours. The article also lists the June 10 winning numbers for Powerball, The Pick and other games, plus how and where to claim larger prizes elsewhere in Arizona.
   

4. Kingman man conquers 72‑Ounce Steak Challenge at Locomotive Park (thestandardnewspaper.online) — A Kingman crowd packed Locomotive Park as local resident Kevin Bellm polished off the Big Texan 72‑ounce steak challenge in just 44 minutes, beating the one‑hour limit. The traveling Route 66 Centennial Caravan brought the famous Amarillo eating contest to town, complete with country music, cheering spectators, and plenty of grilled beef aroma.
