If approved, the new 8.6% combined rate would start September 1 after state review deadlines are met.

4. Kingman man conquers 72‑Ounce Steak Challenge at Locomotive Park (thestandardnewspaper.online) — A Kingman crowd packed Locomotive Park as local resident Kevin Bellm polished off the Big Texan 72‑ounce steak challenge in just 44 minutes, beating the one‑hour limit. The traveling Route 66 Centennial Caravan brought the famous Amarillo eating contest to town, complete with country music, cheering spectators, and plenty of grilled beef aroma.
