• Notice of Activity in a 100-Year Floodplain - Detention Facility Enhancements in Marana, Arizona (dhs.gov) — Federal immigration officials are planning major renovations and capacity increases at the Marana Detention Facility on W Silverbell Road, all within a designated 100‑year floodplain. ICE says upgrades will expand housing, medical, and security systems without enlarging the site’s footprint, and is taking public comments by email through June 18 on the project’s environmental and floodplain impacts. 
• Zach Pollo Named Honorable Mention All-American (arizonawildcats.com) — University of Arizona golfer Zach Pollo has been named an Honorable Mention All-American after a standout season that included a key performance in Marana. He was a co‑medalist at the NCAA Marana Regional, firing a career‑best 63 to help the Wildcats win and ultimately reach match play at the NCAA Championship for the first time in program history.
