1 Dead, 3 Injured After Fiery Crash In North Phoenix
A two-vehicle crash near 35th Avenue and Bell Road left one perso dead and sent three others to a hospital Tuesday.
PHOENIX, AZ — A fiery two-vehicle crash at a busy north Phoenix intersection Tuesday night left one person dead and three others injured, authorities said.
Emergency crews responded to the collision near 35th Avenue and Bell Road, where one of the vehicles caught fire following the impact.
Firefighters extinguished the flames and worked to extricate a person trapped inside, Phoenix Fire Capt. DJ Lee said.

Four people were treated at the scene. Two women and one man were taken to a hospital, while another person died at the scene.
People in the second vehicle were seriously hurt and also taken to the hospital. Officials have not released the names of those involved and have not said which vehicle the person who died was in.

The intersection remained active with emergency crews for hours Tuesday night as they worked to clear the scene.
What led up to the crash is still under investigation, and no additional details about the injured victims were available early Wednesday.
