Amazon Launches 30-Minute Delivery Service In Phoenix

PHOENIX, AZ — Phoenix shoppers can now get groceries, household essentials and electronics delivered to their door in about 30 minutes or less as Amazon expands its new ultra-fast delivery service to the Valley.

The service, called Amazon Now, is rolling out across dozens of U.S. cities, with Phoenix among the markets currently in expansion.

Customers in eligible areas can shop thousands of items including fresh produce, dairy, personal care products and electronics, with deliveries running 24 hours a day in most locations.

The cost is $3.99 per order for Prime members and $13.99 for non-members. Orders under $15 carry an additional small order fee of $1.99 for Prime members and $3.99 for non-members.

Amazon says the service runs out of smaller, strategically placed fulfillment locations designed to cut down on travel time for delivery drivers and speed up the overall process.

Customers can access Amazon Now through the Amazon app or website, where a "30-Minute Delivery" option will appear in eligible areas.

The launch comes as Amazon has been pushing aggressively to shrink delivery times across the board. The company said it delivered more than 8 billion items to U.S. Prime members on the same or next day in 2025, a more than 30% increase over the prior year.

Phoenix joins a list of cities where Amazon Now is actively expanding, including Austin, Houston, Minneapolis, Orlando and Denver.

The company says it plans to reach tens of millions of customers across those and other cities by the end of the year.
