2. Embry-Riddle Launches STEM Initiative in Yavapai County (signalsaz.com) ā EmbryāRiddleās Prescott campus is training Yavapai County teachers to bring hands-on 3D printing, robotics and other STEM tools into local middle and high school classrooms. The pilot course, launched in January, helps educators revive idle equipment, start new clubs and electives, and could expand countywide by fall 2026 if additional grant funding comes through.

Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Looking for Seligman Justice Precinct Constable Applicants (arizonadailyindependent.com) ā If you live in Yavapai County and meet the basic qualifications, you can apply now to be appointed Seligman Justice Precinct Constable, with materials due to the Board of Supervisors office in Prescott by May 1. The appointee, who must be a Republican like the departing constable, will serve through the end of 2026, with a decision expected at the May 20 board meeting.

4. Arizona's Impossible Switchback Railroad on Prescott: Get Tickets Now! (theatermania.com) ā Prescott history buffs can soon catch two new documentaries celebrating the legendary Bradshaw Mountain Railroad, the so-called āImpossible Switchback Railroadā that once ran from Prescott to Crown King. The Western Heritage Centerās premiere will trace the lineās daring early-1900s construction and then use modern flyovers and AI animation to virtually ride the vanished route, with the filmmakers on hand to meet viewers and sign books.
