The chronic pain treatment provider plans local clinical and surgical sites, community health programs, and partnerships with Arizona healthcare organizations, potentially expanding specialized care access and high-quality jobs for Scottsdale and Greater Phoenix residents.
   

2. Italian Festival moves to Scottsdale Civic Center for expanded two-day celebration (arizonadigitalfreepress.com) — Scottsdale residents can look forward to the Italian Festival's move to Scottsdale Civic Center this November, bringing more space, vendors, and entertainment right downtown. The two-day celebration will feature Italian wines, new VIP experiences, a bocce tournament, children's activities, and dozens of local and Italian food and merchandise vendors, with tiered ticket options and free admission for kids 12 and under.
   

3. 3 killed as rare tropical disturbance ravages Arizona, New Mexico with extreme weather (amedpost.com) — Scottsdale is facing dangerous flooding, with firefighters rescuing people from vehicles stranded in about two feet of standing water as a rare tropical disturbance supercharges monsoon storms. The same system has caused deadly flooding in New Mexico and raised flood alerts across Arizona, including Phoenix and Tucson, with several inches of rain possible through Friday.
   

4. Cars stranded as water pooled on streets in Scottsdale and Mesa (fox10phoenix.com) — Heavy rain left parts of Scottsdale under dangerous flash flooding, with cars stranded in about two feet of water near Loop 101 at Pima Road and Princess Drive and rescue crews pushing vehicles to safety. Similar flooding hit Mesa, and officials are urging Valley drivers to avoid driving through standing water and to check their tires before heading onto slick roads.
   

5. Into Action Recovery Connects Men's Residential and Outpatient Services Across Phoenix Metro (azcentral.com) — Men in Scottsdale seeking addiction support now have a clearer path from residential to outpatient care, as Into Action Recovery links its Laveen Village campus with its Scottsdale intensive outpatient program. The Scottsdale location offers evening sessions several times a week, allowing men returning to work, school, or family life to continue structured treatment, peer support, and aftercare planning close to home.
