ASU says it's supporting the athlete and teammates but is not releasing the student's name, condition, or cause of the collapse while the situation continues to develop. 
2. LSU soccer loses to FGCU, falls to 1-3 (wbrz.com) — LSU's women's soccer team fell 3–2 to Florida Gulf Coast, dropping to 1–3 on the season. For Tempe fans, the key detail is that LSU's next two matches will be played in Tempe against Arizona State and Arizona before the Tigers return home.

Fired Phoenix officers appear in court; 88 mph winds hit Arizona winery (fox10phoenix.com) — ASU students are back in Tempe for the new school year, bringing fresh crowds and business to local shops and restaurants.
