• 3 seriously hurt in overnight crash in west Phoenix (kpho.com) — A serious overnight head-on crash at 79th Avenue and Van Buren, right on the Phoenix–Tolleson border, sent three people to the hospital and shut down Van Buren in both directions west of 79th. Authorities suspect alcohol was involved, and drivers in the area are urged to use alternate routes while the investigation continues.
