• PM-26-059: Date Fruit Crop Insurance Program Implementation for the 2027 and Succeeding Crop Years (usda.gov) — Date growers in Yuma County can now tap a new federal crop insurance program tailored to Medjool dates starting with the 2027 season. Coverage levels range from basic catastrophic protection to higher APH options, with key policy documents online and a January 31, 2027 sales deadline for producers to work with their crop insurance agents.
