Backed by the Alice L. Walton Foundation, the project would add specialty services like cardiac care, trails, and a parking garage, with an anticipated opening in 2028 if approvals move forward. 
• Woman placed on state supervised probation for sexually assaulting a deputy (nwaonline.com) — A Bentonville court has placed a Fayetteville woman on 10 years of state-supervised probation after she admitted to sexually assaulting a deputy while in custody at the Benton County Jail. She must register as a sex offender and complete treatment, following a plea agreement supported by the deputy and accepted by a Benton County Circuit judge.
• Siloam Springs man sentenced to 8 years in prison after admitting to killing man in DWI crash (nwaonline.com) — In a Bentonville courtroom, a Siloam Springs man received an eight-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to negligent homicide and DWI in a crash that killed motorcyclist Steven Holmes. Family members described their ongoing grief as the judge also ordered substance-abuse assessment for the defendant, whose blood alcohol content was nearly twice the legal limit.
