Jonesboro City Council Hears Update on Progress of NEA Children's Museum (jonesbororightnow.com) ā€” Jonesboro city council members are weighing a request to donate or lease the Winter Wonderland property on West Monroe for the planned NEA Childrenā€™s Museum downtown, a $10ā€“$12 million project expected to draw 77,000 visitors a year. Museum leaders outlined funding progress, construction and opening timelines through 2028, and stressed that Winter Wonderland would be preserved within the new museum if the city approves the partnership.
