Judge Barry Hyde vetoes data center ordinance (katv.com) — Pulaski County Judge Barry Hyde has vetoed a proposed data center ordinance, saying it raises legal questions, creates regulatory burdens the county isn't ready for, and could expose communities to costly risks. Deputies with a U.S. Marshals fugitive task force took the 35-year-old into custody, where he also faces prior warrants for domestic battery and terroristic threatening, underscoring an ongoing violent crime case affecting central Arkansas residents.
