• UAM hosts region's largest collegiate timbersports event (magnoliareporter.com) — A Maumelle student, Tate Tanner, helped the University of Arkansas at Monticello Forestry Club earn several top finishes at the region’s largest collegiate timbersports competition. The conclave drew 14 schools and over 250 competitors for traditional lumberjack-style and technical forestry events. Alumni, industry partners, and local supporters also played a big role in the successful weekend.
