Chancellor Lisa Willenberg says UACCM’s existing goals already align closely, so the update mainly fine-tunes language while keeping the college on track with system-wide expectations that affect local students and programs.
   

• Chamber to use survey results for Morrilton-area branding (kvom.com) — Morrilton’s Chamber of Commerce is using survey feedback from 85 residents, business owners, and frequent visitors to shape new branding for Morrilton and the Petit Jean River Valley. Respondents highlighted natural beauty, outdoor recreation, small-town charm, affordability, and a welcoming, family-friendly feel, guiding future decisions on logos, taglines, and how the community grows and presents itself.
   

• Morrilton Parks & Rec to host youth baseball, basketball clinics (kvom.com) — Families in Morrilton can sign kids up now for low-cost summer baseball and basketball clinics run by Morrilton Parks and Recreation, with sessions in July for ages 4–7 and 8–12. Baseball will be at the city ball fields, while basketball meets at the Morrilton Community Center gym, and scholarships are available by calling 501-354-4122. It’s a chance for local kids to build skills, confidence, and friendships close to home.
