• That none may be without; Donations for shoes for children wanted (nwaonline.com) — Pea Ridge families in need can get help with children’s shoes through the long-running Heart and Sole program, which now serves the entire Pea Ridge School District year-round. Organizer Cheryl Tillman relies entirely on donated money, new or gently used shoes, and socks dropped at any school campus or the administration office, and she shares direct contact details so residents can quickly offer support. 
• Bella Vista Police Reports: Resident's tree cut down (nwaonline.com) — Bella Vista’s latest police reports include a driver reported swerving toward Pea Ridge on Lancashire Boulevard, though officers couldn’t locate the vehicle and passed the call to Benton County 911. Other incidents range from damaged mailboxes and missing lawn services to a rattling basement and a locksmith helping museum staff get back inside the Bella Vista Historical Museum.
• Rep. Austin McCollum resigns from House of Representatives following arrest for domestic violence (arktimes.com) — State Rep. Austin McCollum has resigned from the Arkansas House after his recent arrest on domestic-violence-related charges, creating a vacancy in House District 8. Benton County Justice of the Peace Brian Armas of Pea Ridge is currently unopposed to replace him in November, while Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has yet to decide whether to call a special election for the remainder of 2026.
