Working with Pine Bluff police and federal agencies, officers also detained another man wanted on local felony warrants, with both awaiting extradition to Arkansas.

AAA reports Arkansas gas prices dropping slightly as the crude market softens (fox16.com) — Pine Bluff drivers are paying about $3.70 per gallon for regular gas, noticeably above both the Arkansas average of $3.64 and nearby Little Rock’s $3.62. AAA says statewide prices have dipped slightly as crude oil falls, but warns global tensions could quickly push pump prices higher again.

Juvenile Arrested After False Gun Threat Prompts Lockdown at Warren Schools (deltaplexnews.com) — A juvenile accused of making a false gun threat that triggered an April 10 lockdown at Warren schools is now being held at the Jack Jones Juvenile Detention Facility in Pine Bluff. Authorities say no weapon was found, but the youth faces a communicating a false alarm charge and a first court appearance set for April 17.
