• Events ordinance worries Acton leaders (avpress.com) — Acton Town Council is pushing back against a proposed Los Angeles County Events Ordinance they fear will worsen noise, traffic, and enforcement problems in the community. Leaders are especially worried the rules and costly permits could threaten long-standing uses of the Acton Community Center, which has served residents for decades as a key gathering and outreach site.
