• Burglary suspects arrested following high-speed chase through Adelanto (vvdailypress.com) — Deputies arrested two suspected burglars after a late-night high-speed chase through Adelanto that began with a reported break-in on Muskrat Avenue. Authorities say the suspects fled in a Honda before being stopped by a flat tire and taken into custody on burglary and evading allegations. A third person reportedly ran from the scene and was not immediately caught. 
• Mexico: 14,000 Mexican nationals are in U.S. immigration detention (kjzz.org) — Mexico is pressing U.S. officials for answers after another Mexican national died at the Adelanto immigration facility, which the country says is the third recent death of one of its citizens there.
