The Eastwood Ranch Foundation is using the attention to encourage locals to attend its free adoption events, learn about pets like Betsy, Jojo, Piper, and Duke, and consider adopting or supporting rescue work. 
• Jonathan Taylor Thomas detained after allegedly resisting police (newstribune.com) — Residents may notice extra attention on the Malibu/Lost Hills sheriff's station in Agoura Hills after actor Jonathan Taylor Thomas was briefly detained there following an alleged unruly encounter with deputies. He was held overnight after a Westlake Village traffic stop but later released when the case was reclassified as a detention with no formal criminal complaint filed.
