• Orange County football mom's father reveals he knew nothing about her alleged $400K scam (nypost.com) — A 56-year-old Aliso Viejo woman was arrested at her $1.4 million home on Sept. 10, accused of embezzling more than $400,000 from a high school football booster organization tied to Aliso Niguel High School. She has pleaded not guilty and is free on bond, while federal prosecutors say they will seek a significant prison sentence in the case.
